School at a Glance reports

School at a glance report - inclusion themes School at a Glance report - school system themes

The circular School at a Glance report represents each school as a system with different dimensions. The reports are designed to assist you to start to identify possible strengths, as well as next steps to include in an action plan.

The School at a Glance report is based on data from the School Review Profile. Each of the 13 coloured segments in the report represents the average score of all the items (survey questions) in each sub-concept.

Each main theme is represented by a different coloured sector. Themes are broken down into sub-concepts. If most of the sector is coloured in, this shows that there is a high level of agreement that this dimension of practice is in place at your school. If a sector is only coloured near the centre of the circle this shows there is a lower level of agreement that this dimension is in place.

The two School at a Glance reports are different ways to consider the same data. One shows school data grouped according to the Inclusion themes (Presence, Participation, Learning). The other shows school data grouped by School Systems themes (Leadership, Policies and practices, School culture). The two reports contain the same sub-concepts. In this sense they are comparable.

We suggest that you undertake further analysis of the more detailed reports (Items at a Glance) before firm conclusions are made about practices to include in an action plan.
